Ahinoam of

Jezreel (XI / X century BC) - the wife of Kin g David of Israel. David married her even before he became king. She was his third wife - after Michal, Sauls daughter, and after Abigail, the widow of Nabalu. Along with her husband and his supp orters stayed at the court of first Achish, the king of Gath, and later the Philistines Ziklag. In the absence of David, the town was overrun and burned by the Amalekites - Ahinoam and Abigail were in captivity. David managed to led his men to catch the attackers, smash them and release their wives.
